Terry and Raymond wished to completely revolutionise their early 1900’s cottage into a modern, light and spacious home. They engaged Domus Homes to manage the planning and construction of this substantial renovation. Construction Matters was the preferred tenderer for this exciting project.
A key role for Construction Matters was to work closely with the project manager and clients to ensure they were maximising their spend. There were many building challenges during this project, not least an unusually high level water table and ground water. In conjunction with the project manager and engineers, Construction Matters undertook a redesign of the lower ground floor, ultimately building it under the water table.
Our proactive problem solving abilities meant we devised effective solutions to the problems, allowing the home to be completed in the design desired by the clients.
