Camperdown 1

Terry and Raymond wished to completely revolutionise their early 1900’s cottage into a contemporary, light and spacious home.

They engaged Domus Homes to manage the planning and construction of this substantial renovation. Construction Matters was the preferred tenderer for this exciting project.

We are more than delighted with our new home built by Construction Matters. It has far exceeded our original expectations. We could not have hoped for a better team, with Matt Mildwater and Brian Lennox under the leadership of Principal, Tom Dalton, to entrust our project. The guys were punctual, diligent and knowledgeable, with excellent attention to detail. They were terrific to work with and very obliging to any of our requests for minor changes. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

A key role for Construction Matters was to work closely with the project manager and clients to ensure they were maximising their spend. There were many building challenges during this project, not least an unusually high-level water table and ground water.

In conjunction with the project manager and engineers, Construction Matters undertook a redesign of the lower ground floor, ultimately building it under the water table.

Our proactive problem solving abilities meant we devised effective solutions to the problems, allowing the home to be completed in the design desired by the clients.
